Maciej Kowalczyk is Vice President of CFA Society Poland and an expert in quantitative finance, business advisory and modern financial technologies. He has over 16 years of market experience gained at global investment banks, international consulting firms and in the fintech sector. Combining advanced financial expertise with knowledge of IT systems development, he specializes in implementing innovative technology solutions in the financial sector that significantly optimize and automate operational and business processes. He gained experience in the technology sector, among others, as Vice President and COO of the fintech company Turbine Analytics, where he built and developed the Turbine Asset Manager and Turbine Risk Analytics systems, which were subsequently implemented across more than 25 institutions and over 450 funds. Currently, as part of his advisory work, including cooperation with PwC, he delivers digital transformation and advanced analytics projects for leading global investment banks such as Morgan Stanley and Citi. He holds the Financial Risk Manager (FRM) designation, awarded by the Global Association of Risk Professionals, and the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, awarded by CFA Institute. He is a graduate of SGH Warsaw School of Economics.
