Polish Financial Supervision Authority Office (UKNF)
A manager with over a decade of experience in security, business continuity, crisis management, and critical infrastructure protection. He has a long-standing background in the public sector. Currently, as the Managing Director of the Security Division, he is responsible for the internal security of the UKNF and supervisory activities towards the market in the field of cybersecurity. Since January 2023, he has been coordinating the UKNF’s preparations to perform tasks arising from DORA. From 2019 to 2022, he served as the Managing Director of the Management and Organization Division, where he was responsible for, among other things, the internal transformation of the Polish Financial Supervision Authority, including the implementation of management systems, building the organization’s capabilities and structures in the security sphere, and the digitalization of document flow. He was also responsible for the operational functioning of the UKNF during the pandemic. Previously, he worked for two years as the Deputy Director of the Security and Information Protection Department at the Ministry of Finance. From 2010 to 2017, he served as the director of the Security and Crisis Management Department at the Mazovian Voivodeship Office, gaining extensive experience in security. As the voivode’s plenipotentiary, he was responsible for the security of many international events, such as the Polish Presidency of the Council of the EU (2011), the Euro 2012 championship, and the NATO Summit (2016). He is a graduate of the Inter-faculty Individual Studies in Mathematics and Natural Sciences (MISMaP) at the University of Warsaw and the MBA program at the Gdańsk Foundation for Management Development. He also completed postgraduate studies in cybersecurity management at Kozminski University.
