A graduate of the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow, with a degree in Mathematics for Economics, Finance, and Insurance. He has participated in numerous professional courses and training both in Poland and abroad. Konrad holds an investment advisor license (No. 329) issued by the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (KNF) and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification, one of the most recognized international certifications in investment advisory, as well as the Professional Risk Manager (PRM) title. He currently works at Alior TFI as a Board Member overseeing investment decisions (CIO), where he supervises the work of the Asset Management Department (DZA) responsible for the investment process and its implementation in investment fund portfolios. He has been actively involved in product development and supporting the sales process of funds, significantly contributing to the dynamic growth of the company’s assets under management. Before joining the board, he served as Director of the Asset Management Department at Alior TFI for nearly a year. Previously, he spent over thirteen years at PZU Group, initially at PZU Asset Management and then at PZU Investment Fund Company. His career at PZU began with managing structured derivative portfolios and gradually moved on to overseeing portfolios and investment funds based on debt strategies. In December 2017, he concluded his work as Deputy Director in the Debt Securities, Currency, and Commodities Office, which managed a team of five managers responsible for investment processes in client portfolios and funds with over 12 billion PLN under management. From 2018, as Director of the newly created Quantitative Methods Office, he was responsible for the development and management of inPZU passive funds, which contributed to TFI PZU receiving the “TFI of the Year” title from Gazeta Giełdy i Inwestorów Parkiet in 2020. At the beginning of 2021, his responsibilities expanded to overseeing the investment process and implementation of strategies across all portfolios managed by the company, covering approximately 15 billion PLN in assets, including debt, equity, investment funds, and derivatives. Throughout his career, he has been recognized multiple times for the performance of co-managed funds, receiving three Złoty Portfel awards from Gazeta Giełdy i Inwestorów “Parkiet” and two “Alfa” awards from Analizy Online. Before entering asset management, Konrad worked for nearly two years at Barclays Capital in London and previously at BRE Bank (now mBank) and Biuro Maklerskie Penetrator as a quantitative analyst in the areas of investment risk and model risk.
