Bartosz Pawłowski has been active in financial markets for 20 years. He began his career as an economist at ING Bank Śląski. In 2007, he moved to London, where he worked as chief emerging markets strategist at BNP Paribas and later as a portfolio manager at Finisterre Capital, a global macro hedge fund. After returning to Poland, from 2016 to 2022 he served as chief investment officer in mBank’s private banking division, where, in addition to asset management, he was also responsible for investment advisory services. He has been with mTFI since 2021, initially as vice president of the management board responsible for investments and operations, and subsequently, since January 2025, as president of the management board. mTFI, which he leads, is a member of the Chamber of Fund and Asset Management. Since June 2026, he has also served as president of CFA Society Poland, one of the leading organizations bringing together capital market professionals.
Bartosz is a graduate of SGH Warsaw School of Economics and holds the CFA designation and the Sustainable Investing Certificate, both awarded by CFA Institute. He has also completed the High Performance Leadership program at IMD in Lausanne.
