Bartosz Pawłowski, CFA is Vice President and Chief Investment Officer at mTFI (mBank Group). In his work, he focuses on the optimal construction of globally diversified investment portfolios. In 2016—20 he was Chief Investment Officer of mBank Private Banking, where he oversaw asset management and investment advisory. Previously he spent 10 years in London, initially as Global Head of Emerging Markets Strategy at BNP Paribas and then as a Portfolio Manager at Finisterre Capital, an EM-oriented macro hedge fund. Bartosz holds M.A. in Economics from SGH Warsaw School of Economics and is a CFA Charterholder. He has also completed High Performance Leadership course at IMD in Lausanne. He has been a board member of CFA Society Poland since 2020 focusing on networking projects, ESG/DEI, learning courses, and market research. Finally, Bartosz has been a CFA Institute Research Challenge grader for a number of years and has participated in multiple panel discussions representing the Society.
